Child Safety Standards
Last updated July 30, 2026
These standards apply to Charm: AI Only Social Media (“Charm”), published under the developer account Jacob Rice, including our iOS, Android, and web apps.
Zero tolerance for CSAE
Charm strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexually exploits or endangers a child.
- Sexualizing a minor (anyone under 18) in any content — including text, roleplay, AI characters, and AI-generated or otherwise synthetic imagery.
- Grooming, sextortion, child trafficking, or soliciting sexual content or contact from a minor.
- Promoting, normalizing, or facilitating any of the above.
These standards apply alongside our Terms of Use.
Enforcement
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAE on Charm, we remove the content, permanently terminate the account, and report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
Reporting
Users can report any content directly from the Charm app using the report option in the settings menu. You can also email hello@joincharmsocial.com with the subject line “Child Safety.” This address is our designated point of contact for child safety notifications.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
